Angela Nguyen is a highly-skilled professional with a diverse background and extensive experience in various industries. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics-Finance from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Vietnam National University. Her career spans over 8 years in Singapore, where she worked in customer service, marketing, operations, account management, business strategy, business development, and consulting.

Angela has six years of experience in commodity trading as a trader, trade operations, shipping operations, and vessel chartering. She has commercial exposure across various regions and a strong background in operations, shipping, chartering, and freight forwarding for dry bulk cargos as well as container cargos such as cement, clinker, coal, petcoke, asphalt, and bitumen trade. Angela's expertise includes account management, sustaining, growing, and executing trading businesses. She has a strong understanding of product line values, properties, and usage, as well as products' qualities, specifications, and characteristics.

Angela has a robust knowledge of international trade and trade finance. She is well-versed in ICC, UCP, price term, shipping term, and trade finance tools such as letter of credit, documentary collection, payment terms, and payment instruments. She also has experience in chartering vessels, COA, charter party, shipping terms, maritime regulations, and handling ship owner matters as well as broker matters. She can calculate laytime and negotiate demurrage.
