Angela LaChica is the President & Chief Executive Officer of LaChica Sports & Entertainment Group, an all-women led sports management and athlete impact firm with a focus on strategic national marketing and media campaigns for top athletes and premier sports events.
With nearly 20 years of experience, Angela has consulted for major sports properties like the NFL, NBA, MLB, ESPN, NIKE, Adidas, and the NCAA, leveraging her expertise in the sports industry and business strategy.
In addition to her professional success, Angela is currently pursuing a law degree and serves as an adjunct professor in the Sport Management Graduate Program at CSU Long Beach, where she teaches courses on Advanced Sport Media & Marketing and the Business of Sport.
Angela LaChica has been recognized for her contributions to the sports industry with awards such as the Women Who Mean Business Award in 2011 & 2014, San Diego Magazines’ People to Watch Nominee in 2013, and the Outstanding Emerging Professional Award in 2015.
Her dedication to leadership roles in the sports industry has led to her appointment to the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation Board of Directors, showcasing her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the world of sports.
Angela's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Western Sierra Law School, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Sports Management from Long Beach-California State University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice/Sociology from San Diego State University-California State University.
Throughout her career, she has held positions at organizations like the Players Coalition, LaChica Sports, CSU Long Beach, Concordia University Irvine, and the San Diego Sports Commission & Hall of Champions.
