    Angel Ornelas is a dedicated young professional with a diverse background in student organizing, college advising, coalition building in public health, environmental policy research, and HIV/AIDS research. Angel studied History at Claremont McKenna College, participated in research programs at the University of Chicago and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and pursued Liberal Arts at Dallas College. With a rich organizational history, Angel has worked in various roles including as a USAID Donald M. Payne Fellow, College Advisor, Communications and Research Intern, Building Coalitions Intern, Energy Democracy Intern, and Latin American Correspondent, among others. Additionally, Angel has experience as a Head Mentor, Archives Intern, Faculty Support, and as a Youth Development Specialist. Angel's expertise spans multiple sectors and displays a strong commitment to community engagement and social justice.
