Angel Braestrup

Angel Braestrup is a Philanthropy Executive & Trustee with a background rooted in making a difference through strategic philanthropic initiatives and nonprofit governance. With a BA in History from Yale University, Angel has honed expertise in various areas including marine conservation philanthropy, freshwater conservation philanthropy, environmental education philanthropy, family philanthropy, regional philanthropy, food security, and non-profit governance. Known for being a 'policy nerd,' Angel excels in fostering networks, collaborations, and joint ventures to drive impactful change.

Currently serving as the Executive Director at the Munson Foundation, Angel's previous experiences include roles as a Legislative Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives, Administrative Assistant at the GWU Reading Center, and Research Assistant at The Wilson Quarterly. As a dedicated NGO Board Member, Angel brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for making a positive difference in various philanthropic and environmental causes.
