Andy Preikschat, CFA, is a seasoned investor who has been directly involved in investment activities for over 15 years. He has a strong background in managing microcap private equity funds, particularly focusing on 'small, weird orphans' within the software industry. Andy has a diverse portfolio with significant stakes in various B2B SaaS companies and marketplaces. Prior to his current role, he gained valuable experience as an analyst covering Apple at SoundView and working at Bill Gates' family office. Additionally, Andy comes from a family with a history of entrepreneurial success, having founded and sold multiple industrial sensor companies. He holds a B.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, a B.A. in Management-Engineering from Claremont McKenna College, and has a solid educational foundation from Bellevue High School.
