He has a strong track record of designing robust parallel machine learning models, deploying innovative insurance policy generation systems, and publishing numerous peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals.

Andy is proficient in managing diverse teams skilled in python, Java, R, C++, as well as data science platforms like scikit-learn, H2O, tensorflow, and Apache Spark, and platforms like Hadoop, AWS, and Linux clusters.

He has managed teams dealing with a wide range of data sources such as the Hubble Space Telescope, real-estate property data feeds, fraud and identity datasets, mortgage records, credit card transactions, and particle physics experiments.

His academic background includes a PhD, MA, and BA degrees from Harvard University, and he has held key positions at reputable organizations such as Chief Data Scientist at Doma (formerly States Title), Director of Data Science at Capital One, and various academic roles.

As a United States Fulbright Scholar, Andy Mahdavi conducted research at Germany's Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics.
