With over two decades of experience, Andy has worked across consumer, sports, and military industries, focusing on process design, improvement, and prototype fabrication.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and has also studied at the Cape Cod Academy. He has a proven track record as a validation-oriented designer, skilled negotiator, and supply-chain relationship developer. His expertise lies in lean thinking, process improvement, precision production line configuration, materials selection, composite structures, finishing techniques, and coating processes.

Apart from his educational background, Andy has held various key roles in prestigious organizations. He has served as an instructor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Product Implementation Manager at Revision Military, Production Manager- Process Developer at Ops Core, Inc., and Modelshop Foreman at Artisent, Inc. Andy has also owned and managed businesses such as Highland Home Improvement, Monster Prototype, Inc., and Design Continuum. His professional journey includes roles like Model Maker at Vanderhoef Design, Inc., and Shop Hand at Goetz Custom Sailboats.

Andy MacInnis' skill set includes prototype fabrication, facility and equipment design, modifications, customizations, machining, casting, welding, vacuum bagging, spray finishing, industrial sewing, CAD/CAM Solidworks, and CNC operations.
