Andy Kelleher

Andy Kelleher is a dedicated post-baccalaureate research fellow at the National Institutes of Health, specifically in the Laboratory of Neuroimaging. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University. With a strong proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, and engineering design, Andy contributes to enhancing methods for developing radiotracers for PET imaging. His current research involves running PET studies on rats to delve into the brain mechanism of carfentanil. Besides his scientific endeavors, Andy is venturing into the literary world by authoring a book titled 'Why Listen? The Value of Intergenerational Storytelling in Today’s Changing World' through New Degree Press. Through this book, he delves into the significance of storytelling, listenership, and the impact of previous generations' stories on contemporary issues.
