Andy Halls is a seasoned media professional with over a decade of experience in UK journalism. He is currently serving as TV Editor at The Sun newspaper in London, where he is responsible for breaking exclusive interview and stories on big shows and upcoming ones too. In addition to his day job, Andy is also a regular commentator on TV and showbiz affairs on a number of radio shows, including 5live, LBC, and talkSPORT. His versatility and well-connectedness has earned him nominations for Showbiz Reporter of the Year at the prestigious Society of Editors Press Awards in both 2019 and 2020, and Young Journalist of the Year in 2017. Prior to his current role, Andy served as Associate Head of Showbiz, Showbiz Columnist, and Senior Showbiz Reporter across both the daily Sun and Sunday title. He was accepted onto the Sun's prestigious two-year trainee scheme after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with upper-second class honours in Journalism in 2011.
