Andy Evans is an advisor, mentor, and investor in digital businesses across various industries, with a key interest in performance marketing as a partner at the BLUE14 investment syndicate.
With a passion for technology and gadgets, Andy, known as @digitalandy, started his entrepreneurial journey at a young age with his first computer, a Sinclair ZX-81 in 1981. By 15, he was already running his own business, selling concert tickets and trips.
In 1999, Andy founded Net Communities, one of the UK's early digital publishing firms and the first vertical ad network in the country, eventually selling it to Future plc in 2015. He also established the UK's inaugural podcast production company in 2005, and OnScroll, an award-winning viewability adtech business in 2013, later acquired by Sovrn Holdings, Inc., where he served as CMO until 2019.
Andy's education is rooted in 'the school of life,' where his hands-on experience and entrepreneurial spirit have fueled his successful ventures and investments in various organizations.
Throughout his career, Andy Evans has been involved in multiple organizations, such as PATTRNS, Vagabond Digital, Revving, Aray Social, supergroup, Aerios, VenturePath, Eleven Writing, BLUE14, Visaura, Underground Ecom, Stitcht, Policy Powerhouse, Anonymised, CharterSync, TableYeti, and Banjo Robinson.
