He has also worked as an operational safety trainer for the Australian Federal Police and as a training consultant for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. His qualifications include a diploma in public safety with specializations in both policing and security risk management, as well as certificates in education, training and assessment, and fitness training. As a proprietor of West Pennine Self Defence Association, he is also a martial arts instructor with advanced training in unarmed defensive techniques and the use of force policy. Whether working as a training consultant or as a specialist trainer for government agencies, Andy excels in his role as a master taser trainer and is recognized as an expert in baton, handcuffs, and firearms training.
