Held diverse responsibilities as developer of Instant-C, an innovative C development environment:

* Refined user process control, display management, and low-level memory management.

* Maintained compatibility with Rational’s industry standard DOS extender DOS/16M, including modifying low-level memory management to use DOS/16M’s VM (virtual memory) capabilities.

* Enhanced internal editor, adding new configuration facility, multiple windows, enhanced search-and-replace, region highlighting, popular editor emulation, improved integration with Instant-C, large files; designed and implemented means to use third party editors in integrated environment.

* Key customer liason for Instant-C and DOS/16M (customer support, sales).  Championed many in-house processes including use of revision control systems, product release processes and guidelines, and the formation of a distinct QA department.
