Andy Chien is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in Product Development intensive industries, focusing on engineering improvement and related direct material topics.

He holds an M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA with Distinction from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Andy's expertise lies in areas such as PD Effectiveness, Complexity Reduction, Product Technology Strategy, Warranty and Quality Improvement, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, and more.

He has held significant roles in various organizations, including serving as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors at Liberty Spring and as a Partner in the Automotive and Manufacturing Industry Practice at Oliver Wyman.

His previous positions include President & Managing Director, North America at Ricardo Strategic Consulting, Vice President in the Automotive Practice at A.T. Kearney, and roles at Intel Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

Alongside his professional endeavors, Andy Chien has a background as a Formula 1 Race Engineer with the Benetton Ford F1 Race Team.
