Andrew McLennan

Andrew McLennan is the Global Head of Quant Strats, Technology, Products & AI at Nuveen Asset Management, focusing on Private Alternative Investments. With a strong background in Quantitative Analytics, ML/AI, and Software Engineering, Andrew is known for his expertise in technology products, digital strategy, and as an ML/AI Technical Expert.

Andrew's academic journey includes a Biomedical Information Engineering PhD/DPhil in Cancer Research from the University of Oxford. He has held key positions at Goldman Sachs, where he led Quant Strat and Technology teams, including his role as Managing Director and International Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Private Alternative Asset Management. In this role, he provided technical solutions for Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate investment businesses.

Currently pursuing an Executive MBA (CTO Programme) from Berkeley Haas Business School, Andrew serves as the Global Head of Technology and Digital Products for Private Alternative Real Assets at Nuveen, a prominent Asset Manager with over $1 trillion in assets under management. Andrew's interests extend beyond his professional endeavors, as he enjoys staying active with his family and has even completed the UK Ironman Triathlon.
