Andrew Yeang is a dedicated chemical engineering PhD candidate with a focus on electrochemistry, specifically reversible metal electrodeposition.
He is passionate about leveraging his expertise in electrochemistry to contribute to the advancement of a more sustainable world.
Andrew aspires to enhance his research capabilities and outreach/mentoring skills to educate and inspire future generations of scientists and engineers.
Apart from his academic pursuits, he enjoys playing soccer, skiing, climbing, hiking, soap making, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Andrew Yeang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Colorado Boulder and has previous experience as a Plant Operations Intern at Air Liquide, a Grader at The University of Texas at Austin, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, and a Process Optimization Intern at BASF.
