    Andrew Symington is an accomplished software engineer who specializes in ROS-based sensor fusion, navigation, and control software for free-flying robots. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, Symington has served as a NASA Research Scientist with Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, a Postdoctoral Researcher with UCLA and University College London, and a Researcher with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford. Currently, he works as a Software Engineer for Cruise and is developing software for a robot that will be sent to the International Space Station in 2018.
