Andrew Smith is an accomplished professional with a diverse set of skills and experiences in the financial industry. Currently serving as the Director, SVP, Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy at Virtu Financial LLC, Mr. Smith's contributions to the firm have been instrumental in advancing and distributing Virtu's customized liquidity offerings, expanding relationships with key players in the industry, evaluating new technologies, and navigating potential benefits and challenges of new regulation. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table with a background that includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Smith served as Director of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at Madison Tyler LLC before its acquisition by Virtu, as well as Senior Associate at L.E.K. Consulting, LLC, and Director of Operations and Product Development at Lumiport, LLC. His roles have exposed him to a variety of market structures, global FX and Americas equity, and futures markets, and unique perspectives on macro and micro factors impacting the industry.

In recognition of his unique skills, Mr. Smith was asked to be the Head of Investor Relations and Communications after Virtu Financial LLC completed its IPO in April 2015 (NASDAQ:VIRT).
