Andrew Powers

Andrew Powers is a professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography from Middlebury College. He has an extensive professional background in software engineering and management roles. Andrew currently serves as a Software Engineering Manager at CARMERA, showcasing his leadership skills. Prior to this, he held the position of Lead Software Engineer at CARMERA, demonstrating his expertise in software development. His experience also includes roles as a Software Engineer at both CARMERA and Placed, where he honed his technical abilities.

Before transitioning into software engineering, Andrew gained valuable experience in different roles. He worked as a Business Analyst at Point Inside and as a Data Technology Specialist and Supervisor at the same organization. Additionally, he served as a Researcher for the Soweto Historical GIS Project, showcasing his research capabilities. His early professional experiences include internships at Pipeline Entertainment and serving as a Lab Monitor at the Middlebury Geography Department, highlighting his diverse skill set.
