Andrew McFarlane

Andrew James (AJ) McFarlane is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. He graduated from Hobart College in 2019 with a dual BSc in Physics and Computer Science and a minor in French & Francophone Studies. Currently, AJ is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Calgary, where his research primarily focuses on adaptive bitrate techniques in multimedia networks.

Alongside his academic pursuits, AJ has been actively involved in various educational roles. He has served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary and was previously a Teaching Fellow at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Additionally, he has professional experience as a Hybrid Systems Engineering Intern at Terrafugia.

In his personal life, AJ has diverse interests. He enjoys spending his free time at the gym, practicing MMA, hiking, and listening to podcasts, among other activities. This blend of academic dedication and personal pursuits highlights AJ's well-rounded nature and commitment to continuous growth and learning.
