Andrew Male is a talented and experienced digital leader with a strong technical background. Andrew holds a 2:1 degree in Computer Science from Durham University, and he has held various leadership positions throughout his career. Before his current role as Chief Digital and Information Officer at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS FT, Andrew was Director of Digital Services at the University of York, where he was responsible for setting the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for change. He has also held other leadership roles at the same institution, including Assistant Director Information Services, Head of Enterprise Systems, and Head of Web Services.
Prior to working at the University of York, Andrew was a ScrumMaster and Software Development Manager at Nokia, where he developed his skills in managing software development teams. Before that, he worked at the University of Bath as Acting Head of Web Services, Web Development Manager & ScrumMaster, and IT Support & Systems/Web Developer.
