Andrew Joiner
Andrew Joiner is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with a strong background in renewable energy. He has a Master's Degree in Energy Economics from Duke University, studied energy law and policy at Vermont Law School, and received a Business Certificate in International Finance from the University of California, Berkeley after earning his Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy Analysis from American University.
Joiner launched EnMass Energy in 2015, building agricultural waste-to-energy projects in emerging economies. EnMass Energy has since expanded its offering to include waste-to-energy supply services throughout India, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, and North America. Joiner's expertise lies in identifying market demand, launching products and services, and utilizing proprietary software to dictate optimal physical logistics architecture for waste procurement and supply.
Joiner previously served as Executive Director at 501Carbon, Renewable Energy Consultant at UPM Environment Project Management, Ltd. Co., Energy Policy Consultant at White House Council on Environmental Quality, Research Consultant for Energy and Economics at UNEP, Legal Specialist at the State of California, and Policy Consultant at The Capitol Group.
