Dr. Andrew Huff is a versatile scientist and team leader with a passion for developing accurate predictive systems to tackle complex health issues. He has a strong educational background with a PhD in Epidemiology, EHS, and Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota, along with additional studies in Complex Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Andrew is the Co-Founder of MTRX, where he is actively involved in pioneering solutions for challenging health problems. He brings a wealth of experience from various roles, including serving as a Consultant and Founder at Risk Factor Research, a Professor and Hospital Epidemiologist at Michigan State University, and VP Data & Technology at EcoHealth Alliance.
His extensive career includes diverse positions such as Emerging Infectious Disease Country Coordinator in the Middle East and Africa, Epidemiologist at Columbia University in NYC, and Senior Member Of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. Andrew's professional journey also spans roles as a Foreign Advisor, Research Fellow, and Epidemiologist at the University of Minnesota.
Beyond academia and research, Andrew has ventured into the practical realm with roles such as a Judicial Extern at Minnesota District Courts, Program Manager in the Medical Center at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and even serving as an Infantryman in the US Army. His broad experience also includes a stint as a Sales Manager at Best Buy.
