Andrew Huang is a full-stack engineer with a passion for learning and growth. He has experience working with different stacks and strongly believes in teamwork, empathy, and elbow grease to overcome challenging problems in the world. Andrew's most recent work includes building Facebook's Crisis Response tools, including Safety Check, Community Help, and Amber Alerts, which have had a significant impact on millions of people globally.
Andrew is an alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley where he studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, and he has held various roles, including Software Engineer at Facebook and Townsquared, Full Stack Software Engineer at Clever Inc., among others. During his time at UC Berkeley, Andrew was an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Academic Coordinator, and Lecturer. Additionally, he served as a Visiting Lecturer at Georgia State University.
Apart from his professional pursuits, Andrew is an avid rock climber, reader, and enjoys perfecting his homemade ramen recipe. He has an interest in education and community building and is known for his exceptional problem-solving abilities.
