Andrew Hoyle
Principal, Private Equity at EBRD
Andrew Hoyle is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital investments. He is an Associate at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he invests in funds across emerging markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
Before joining EBRD, Andrew worked in equity research at Barclays and qualified as an accountant at PwC. During his time at PwC, Andrew went on a secondment to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he served as a financial controller of a project aimed at reforming the Congolese national police force.
Andrew holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of Durham.
As an investment professional, Andrew has a keen interest in emerging markets and the unique challenges and opportunities they present. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role at EBRD and is committed to supporting the development of successful private equity and venture capital funds across emerging markets.
