    Andrew Finkle is a professional with a strong background in materials science and engineering, specializing in semiconductors, microfabrication, thin films, macromolecular science, nanosystem CAD, surface science, and catalysis.

    Andrew has gained valuable experience through various roles in laboratory and research settings, including positions at Xerox Research Centre of Canada, SC Johnson and Son, and the University of Waterloo, where he worked in Dr. Leonardo Simon's Nanomaterials lab group.

    Currently, Andrew is involved in research with Dr. Sharizad Esmaeili in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo, focusing on microhardness evolution in aluminum alloys. His academic background includes studying MASc in Chemical Engineering (Nanotechnology) and BASc in Nanotechnology Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.

    Andrew has a diverse skill set encompassing nanoparticle synthesis, optical microscopy, electron microscopy, spectroscopic techniques, and semiconductor fabrication. He has also been involved in projects related to cellulose nanocomposites, aluminum and magnesium alloy research, and clay-polypropylene nanocomposites.

    In addition to his research roles, Andrew has held positions including CTO & Co-Founder at Structur3D Printing, Co-Founder and Director of R&D at Structur3D Printing, and roles at ArboraNano and ExxonMobil. He has also served as a teaching assistant and conducted research in various capacities at the University of Waterloo.

    Andrew's educational background includes an OSSD from Nicholson Catholic College and involvement in the Nanotechnology Engineering program at the University of Waterloo. With a commitment to advancing the field of nanotechnology, Andrew Finkle continues to explore new opportunities for research and innovation.
