Created an on-demand service API that dynamically allocates scalable computing resources and automates creation & mounting processes of ext3 filesystems on linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 virtual machines.

Managed the infrastructure to handle massive growth in membership, traffic, and data to support dramatic growth in the usage of all products. Operated the platform that powers all of search — which responds to thousands of queries per second with target latencies in tens of milliseconds. The platform runs in 24/7 production environment and enables search quality engineers to rapidly innovate, experiment and improve relevance, while at the same time remaining constantly available and performant to end users.

Sustained the technical platform for all of engineering to build services, the essential unit of development and deployment. Delivered the systems and algorithms which generate and serve feeds for professionally relevant activities and content.

Constructed real-time streaming applications that transform or react to the streams of data including Apache Spark jobs.

Using Google Pub/Sub, retained publishing and subscription-based streams of records and stored streams of records in a fault-tolerant durable way. Processed streams of records real-time. Built real-time streaming data pipelines that reliably retrieve data between systems or applications.

Ran Spark jobs on Hadoop to access diverse data sources, achieving high performance for both batch and streaming data, using a DAG scheduler. Built parallel apps interactively from different shells including Python, on Apache Hadoop library to accommodate distributed processing of large data sets across clusters of machines. Scaled up from multiples of machines, offering local computation and storage.
