Andrew Carty

Andrew Carty is an experienced economic developer with a strong background in negotiation, planning, policy, and change management. He holds a Masters of Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington and has a proven track record of growing organizations in both the public and private sectors.
Andrew's educational background includes a Masters of Public Affairs from The School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington, where he focused on Environmental Policy, Natural Resource Management, Economic Development, and Policy Analysis. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science with a Minor in Biology from Hendrix College, and has studied International Business and International Relations during a Study Abroad Experience at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
Throughout his career, Andrew has held key positions in various organizations. He has served as the Director of the Economic Development Division at the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, Director of the Central Indiana Small Business Development Center at Butler University - Lacy School of Business, Assistant Director of Economic Development at Thomas P. Miller & Associates, as well as several other significant roles such as Senior Project Consultant and Project Consultant in the field of Economic Development.
In addition to his professional roles, Andrew has also contributed to sustainability efforts, having served as the CSR & Sustainability Fellow at VOX Global and as the Greek Life Sustainability Coordinator in the Office of Sustainability at Indiana University Bloomington. He has also been involved in community initiatives, including leading as the Community Garden Coordinator and Fit2Live Staff Member at the City of North Little Rock.
