Andrew Butler serves as the Head of Quant Research & Operations at ReSolve Asset Management, overseeing research and software design for innovative investment solutions. ReSolve Asset Management specializes in systematic ETF managed portfolios for diversified global asset allocation. Andrew's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master's in Applied Mathematics & Financial Engineering with a focus on Financial Mathematics from York University - Schulich School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Previously, Andrew held roles as a Quantitative Analyst at Butler - Philbrick - Gordillo & Associates and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at York University and Memorial University of Newfoundland, respectively.
