The team has vast technical experience in metals processing recovery operations, and features individuals with deep experience in all aspects of running corporate startups. BMI has extensive global contacts for spent battery metals recycling feedstock and source materials to produce materials which can be supplied to OEM’s and battery manufacturers. The Company plans to take in black mass, lithium-ion based batteries, other spent battery configurations, and other feedstock for a proven technology pilot commercial processing facility with an initial design for 2,000 tpy throughput, and is in preliminary design work for a much larger industrial plant with 70,000 tpy input. The first operation to be sited in North Carolina on the east coast of the US.

Idaho Copper Corporation ("IDCU") owns CuMo, one of the largest undeveloped copper projects in the Americas, and perhaps the largest undeveloped, global primary molybdenum project. I joined as COO in January 2022 to take the project from its current Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) stage through a PEA update incorporating ore sorting and other technical work, to the development of a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and beyond. I transitioned to CEO/COO in July of 2024 and am charged with the strategic direction of the company as well as the development of the CuMo deposit. I am still on the ground in Idaho, advancing community and governmental relations, and permitting with the US Forest Service.

Joined Berkeley Research, a  high level, global strategic advisory consulting organization in late 2016 as an Independent Consultant, focusing on the mining and energy industries in M&A/transactions and due diligence (technical, operational, legal, financial and environmental), property and project valuation and analysis, expert witness opinions, and commercial matters. Berkeley is a worldwide expert consulting firm providing independent advice, data analytics, authoritative studies, expert testimony and investigations, financial analysis, and regulatory/dispute consulting to Fortune 500 corporations, financial institutions, governmental agencies, major law firms and regulatory bodies.

Critical Metals Ventures LLC ("CMV) is a privately held limited liability company which combines the talents of experienced mining industry professionals who have a history of successful discovery and development of mineral projects. CMV Members have extensive experience  in project location and acquisition, early stage and advanced exploration, development, mining and production, engineering design, hydrogeological and geotechnical engineering, environmental and regulatory, legal, finance, administration and project and corporate management skills. 

Currently, CMV has optioned and expanded the footprint of an advanced leachable copper project in Arizona. This project has a historical drill-identified resource (non-NI-43-101 compliant) incorporating substantial geochemistry, drilling and laboratory analysis, metallurgical and related work. CMV is presently seeking capital to move the project to a PEA level stage.

Energy Metals Discovery Group, LLC (“EMDG”) is a group of mining professionals with a history of successful discovery and development of mineral projects worldwide.  Collectively EMDG has many years of experience in the mining industry incorporating exploration, development, mining and production, engineering design, hydrogeological and geotechnical engineering, legal, finance, administration and project and corporate management skills.  The principal purpose of EMDG is to act a project incubator, taking discoveries and initial exploration and development of meritorious properties to a level where they can be logically turned over to investors who have greater financial resources at their disposal.

Recognizing their complementary skill sets, mutual interests and goals the principals of EMDG have come together as a group to explore and develop mineral projects that are key to the emerging energy sector. Individually and as a group EMDG has an extensive network of trusted industry contacts who are sources of information regarding specific minerals and mineral properties. Completed 3 major financings and sold company to new owners in early 2014.

Joined publicly-traded TSX-V junior lithium company as chief executive as part of vend-in of portfolio of Chilean lithium/potassium brine projects. In addition to strategic efforts as CEO, duties involve all legal work for company including acquisitions, joint ventures, earn-in agreements, financing documents, environmental/regulatory matters, corporate, regulatory filings, stock exchange and securities work, compliance issues (FCPA, etc.) and corporate administration. Closed 3 major financings and 2 property acquisitions.

First Potash Corp.

Joined two publicly-traded OTCBB junior exploration companies as chief executive in order to develop and implement strategic direction for portfolios of copper and gold projects in South America. Also acted as manager of the private entity which serves as the administration and back office function-provider to these and a number of other, affiliated public companies which are run out of the same location. Performed all legal work for companies and had responsibility for all aspects of company administration as well as fundraising and capitalization, budgeting, and design and implementation of work programs and compliance issues (FCPA, etc.).

Zoro Mining Corp. and Pacific Copper Corp.

Was principally accountable for creating and building the mining transactional practice of CBRE, the world’s largest commercial transactor. Responsibilities included client development, listings, marketing of mining assignments, and closing mining-related transactions, primarily in the Americas. Worked on all aspects of listing and marketing documents, and purchase and sales agreements. A sampling of the most relevant transactions involved with at CBRE are as follows:
•	Financial Advisor to Asarco, LLC, in $65 million sale of East Tennessee zinc properties to Glencore Ltd.  (May, 2006)
•	Financial advisor to owner of Middle Tennessee zinc properties in December, 2006, $17 million sale to Canadian startup company
•	Financial advisor to General Electric in December, 2006, $9.5 million disposition of portfolio of uranium royalty interests to Laramide Resources

Following the completion of the $3.5 billion acquisition and merger of Magma Copper Company into BHP, in which a major role was taken, served as the principal lawyer inside of BHP Copper, one of the largest private copper producers in the world, managing major international mining and related transactions, joint venture relationships, intellectual property matters, litigation management and related business and legal affairs of the largest division within BHP, a $75 billion international, Australia-based conglomerate. Following BHP's decision to exit the North American copper market in July, 1999, was primarily responsible for disposition and marketing of Arizona and Nevada properties and assets, including sales, mergers, joint ventures and other business combinations.
Major accomplishments:
•	Sale of Florence Arizona in situ copper leach project in 2001 to private investor
•	Negotiated master Earn-In and Joint venture with RTZ on multi-billion dollar Resolution Copper Project (Arizona) in 2001—one of the last world class copper projects left in North America
•	Part of team which negotiated and closed $235 million sale of BHP Steel west coast secondary and tertiary steelmaking plants to Grupo IMSA( Mexico) in 2000
•	Resolved legal and title issues at Agua Rica Cu-Au project in Argentina—1997-1999

Managed Legal, Land, Governmental, and Regulatory Affairs functions for NYSE - traded mining company, growing from an initial market capitalization of $200 million, to ultimately over $3 billion, with domestic and international operations. Reported directly to CEO and supervised professional staff, including lawyers, landmen, engineers, lobbyists, paralegals, and secretaries, with an annual outside consultant budget exceeding $3 million. Major personal accomplishments during 8-year tenure include the following:
•	Acquisition (1992) of and ongoing permitting and resolution of complex water issues for the $100 million, breakthrough technology Florence copper leaching project in Arizona
•	Acquisition and regulatory permitting (Federal and State) of the $400 million Robinson Mining District in Nevada (1990 through 1995)
•	Management of $350 million privatization transaction (1994) of the Tintaya Mining District in Peru, including invention and passage of enabling changes in Peruvian Investment Law
•	Ongoing management of Company's intellectual property portfolio, including in-house R&D related to development of key technologies, patent prosecutions, and licensing and technology agreements Developed special reclamation technology subsidiary, and alliance with international partner to market same
•	Managed employment and environmental litigation matters including, ADA and FMLA issues as well as claims involving the EPA and several environmental regulations.

•	As Chairman of Arizona Mining Association, organized passage in 1994 Arizona Legislative session of the critically-needed Arizona Surface Mined Land Reclamation Law
