Andrew Barton

Andrew Barton is an accomplished space industry professional with more than a decade of experience in space exploration and technology. A Master's degree holder in Space Studies from the International Space University and a PhD holder in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sydney, Barton has an extensive range of expertise and skills in various fields. He is presently a Research Program Manager at SmartSat CRC, and he has held senior positions in renowned space agencies, including the European Space Agency and XPRIZE. Barton's work experience also includes technical leadership roles at Fleet Space Technologies and Southern Launch.

Barton's niche lies in leading ambitious space technology and exploration projects. He has collaborated with several organizations while holding different positions, including Director of Launch and US Operations and CTO at Fleet Space Technologies and Quality Manager and Head of Engineering at Southern Launch.
