Andres Ferrate is a seasoned executive with a diverse background in engineering, technology, and business. He holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from MIT, an MS in Environmental Engineering from Stanford, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ferrate began his career at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant, where he gained experience in a variety of industries such as consumer goods, healthcare, and finance. After his time at McKinsey, Ferrate worked at Microsoft for eighteen years, where he held various executive roles, such as leading the engineering team responsible for Microsoft's cloud computing platform, Azure. Ferrate has recently joined Nestlé, the world's largest food and beverage company, as their Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Ferrate is responsible for leading the company's global technology efforts, including digital transformation, data science, and cybersecurity.
