Andres Blumer

Andres Blumer is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a focus on the Latin American market, boasting 8 years of experience in building and investing in companies in the region.

Having grown up in Seattle and studied at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, Andres made a pivotal move to Bogotá in 2012 to facilitate connections between the US start-up ecosystem and Colombia.

His passion for entrepreneurship, Latin America, and investments has driven him to establish and grow multiple high-growth businesses that challenge traditional industries in Colombia, collectively securing over $20 million in venture capital, creating 4000+ jobs, and realizing an enterprise value exceeding $60 million.

In 2015, he co-founded Mi Aguila, a transportation and logistics technology firm dedicated to revolutionizing urban mobility in Latin America through innovative and sustainable solutions. Mi Aguila's offerings include corporate taxi services, shared commuting solutions, and last-mile logistics services focused on safety, quality, and affordability. The venture-backed company now employs 120 individuals and serves over 200 corporate clients across 9 Colombian cities, contributing to the development of more livable and sustainable communities in Latin America.

Apart from his role at Mi Águila, Andres is actively engaged in diverse investment activities, primarily concentrated on real estate development, hospitality, and early-stage start-ups. He has been instrumental in structuring, raising funds for, investing in, and overseeing a portfolio of 20+ ventures in the US and Colombia, amounting to over $20 million in capital investments. Currently, Andres holds board positions and provides advisory services to notable companies such as Mensajeros Urbanos, SuperFuds, and the Click Clack Hotel.

Andres Blumer's educational background includes participation in the Stanford - Endeavor Innovation & Growth Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a B.A. in Global Business - International Relations from the University of Southern California, and studies in International Studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
