Andrej Macko

Andrej Macko is a seasoned Senior Software/Security Architect, Engineer, and Coach with a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Residing in Switzerland since 2000, he has a proven track record of serving listed corporate clients.

Before relocating to Switzerland, Andrej operated his own software engineering business in Slovakia. Over the past decade, he has honed his expertise in .NET technologies and cloud software architectures. Andrej thrives on tackling challenging problems and excels in collaborative, innovative team settings.

His strengths include reverse-engineering software and hardware, as well as anticipating future technological advancements. Andrej is well-versed in agile methodologies such as RUP and SCRUM, but also emphasizes the importance of solid classical analysis and design principles in complex projects.

Having recently worked as an Enterprise Security Architect in Switzerland, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of both the bottom-up and top-down aspects of the IT domain, Andrej made the decision to return to Slovakia to reimmerse himself in core technologies and enjoy his native language.

Educationally, Andrej Macko holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave.
