Andrei Petrenko

Andrei Petrenko is a quantum physics expert, researcher, and educator, currently leading the quantum control research team at Quantum Circuits, Inc. The start-up is focused on developing practical quantum computers, based on superconducting devices, for use in key strategic areas such as national security, secure information transfer, search algorithms, and quantum simulations.

Petrenko graduated with a PhD in Physics from Yale University, where he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Fellow. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Columbia University in the City of New York.

With extensive experience in quantum control and a background in business consultancy at IBM, his expertise in quantum technology drives the work at Quantum Circuits, Inc. – putting them ahead of the curve in the rapidly growing quantum computing industry.
