Andrei Lescenco

Andrei Lescenco is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in developing Ruby on Rails applications since 2011. His expertise spans client-side technologies like Backbone, jQuery, Prototype, ReactJS/Redux, as well as server-side tasks such as database design, working with background jobs, mailers, services, NoSQL databases, and external APIs.

During his tenure at an outsourcing software company, Andrei built and maintained diverse applications including a social network app, a conference management app, a web store app, an online magazine app, and other Ruby and Sinatra projects. He has also collaborated with a successful fintech startup, focusing on Rails project maintenance, bug fixing, implementing new features, and developing a mobile web app using React and Redux. Andrei is well-versed in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies, with a current emphasis on Scrum for newer projects.

Andrei Lescenco pursued his academic journey by studying Mathematics and Computer Science, culminating in a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from the University of Bucharest.
