Andreea-Maria Oncescu

Andreea-Maria Oncescu is a skilled and accomplished PhD student at the University of Oxford. With a strong background in Engineering Science, she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Computer Vision and Natural Language within the Visual Geometry Group. Her research interests include multi-modal data analysis, with a focus on understanding data through text. Andreea-Maria has also served as a Lab Demonstrator at the University of Oxford Department of Engineering Science and as the Social Secretary-MCR at St John's College. Additionally, she has been a Research Student at the Dynamics, Vibration, and Uncertainty (DVU) Lab at the University of Oxford, and a Summer Intern in System Design Integration and Whole Engine Modelling at Rolls-Royce. As an accomplished Lecturer in Physics at the Excellence Center for Olympic Students, she has also made a significant contribution to the education field. Andreea-Maria was the former President of the Oxford University Romanian Society.
