Andreas Thellmann

Andreas Thellmann is a professional with a strong background in Urban Air Mobility, focusing on eVTOL aircraft systems, U-space services, and Vertiport integration.

His educational background includes an Executive MBA from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, a Doctor of Engineering in Rocket Propulsion System from Bundeswehr University Munich, and a Dipl.-Ing. in Aerospace Engineering also from Bundeswehr University Munich.

Andreas has held various key positions at Airbus, including Head of Air Mobility Initiative, Senior Program Manager, Business Development Manager for Urban Air Mobility & CityAirbus, Costing Manager for New Rotorcrafts, Support & Service Engineer, and Research Engineer.

Prior to his work at Airbus, he served in roles such as Program Manager and Research Assistant/Doctoral Candidate at Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) and as an Aircraft Engineering Officer.

His expertise lies in system-of-systems approach for Urban Air Mobility and the development of eVTOL aircrafts, as well as integration of Vertiports with airports and cities.
