Andreas Sedlmayr is the Co-Founder and CEO of instagrid, a company established in 2018 that specializes in high-power portable battery systems aimed at replacing polluting combustion engines in mobile energy provision. The company is based in Ludwigsburg, Germany, and focuses on providing clean, efficient, and reliable electricity solutions, particularly for industries such as construction and infrastructure.12

Before founding instagrid, Sedlmayr worked at Robert Bosch GmbH, where he held various roles related to the product lifecycle of battery systems. He has a PhD in Materials Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), which has equipped him with the technical expertise necessary for his current role.12 Under his leadership, instagrid has developed advanced portable power packs that offer emission-free energy solutions, significantly contributing to the decarbonization of various sectors.123
