Andreas Kalt is a passionate and experienced teacher who has been teaching English, Geography, Biology, Naturwissenschaft und Technik (NwT) sowie Medien to students for many years. He is also an expert in integrating digital media into the classroom, making his lessons more engaging and effective. Andreas has a deep understanding of the importance of effective communication and leverages this skill to provide effective training and support on the use of digital media in education.
As well as teaching, Andreas also develops and leads professional development courses for educators, sharing his expertise and helping others to learn about the latest developments in digital technology in education. He has been involved in several projects such as digitization and its impact on education, and is currently working for the Digitalization Initiative in Baden-Württemberg, where he is a digital@BW Multiplier. Furthermore, he blogs and creates YouTube videos about teaching materials, lesson concepts, and innovation to support professionals in exploring new educational possibilities.
Andreas studied at different renowned universities such as Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg, the National University of Ireland, Galway, and the Staatliches Seminar für Lehrerbildung (Gymnasien) Rottweil. He holds a Staatsexamen für das Lehramt in English, Biology, and Geography, and he also holds a Staatsexamen für das Lehramt (Gymnasium) in Anglistik, Biologie, Geographie from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg im Breisgau.
