Andreas Gyr

Andreas Gyr is currently the REWS Sustainability Partner for EMEA at Google, a position he has held for over ten years. His role focuses on integrating sustainability into Google's operations and initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Gyr has a background in environmental sustainability and technology, which he leverages to drive impactful projects within the company.

He studied at the University of California, Berkeley, and is based in London. Gyr is actively involved in discussions around food sustainability and technology, participating in events like the Intersection of Food, Technology, Investment, and the Climate Crisis during London Climate Action Week. He has also shared insights on nature-based carbon removals and other sustainability topics through his LinkedIn posts.

In addition to his professional work, Gyr is connected to the arts community through his wife, Giana Gyr, who is an abstract artist with a focus on motorsport themes.
