Andreas began his professional career as a CAD design draftsman at Cooper Power Tools before establishing his own engineering office, Faass-Racing Performance Parts. He also served as an Engineering Intern, Battery Systems at Tesla Motors before taking on various roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Battery Systems, and Systems Engineer, Powertrain Integration at the company. Andreas later joined Google[X] as a Powertrain Design Engineer at Makani, where he developed his skillset in venture technology, eventually becoming the Director of Venture Technology at Siemens. He then served as the Head of Mechanical Design - Electric Aircraft Powertrains at Siemens before joining Airbus Helicopters as the Lead Electrical System CityAirbus, his current position.
