Andrea Zorzetto

Andrea Zorzetto is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for innovation, public policy, and driving social change. With a diverse international background, having lived in various countries including the US, China, and Europe, he brings a unique perspective to his work in Italy. Currently, Andrea holds the position of leading the Italian operations at Plug and Play, the world's largest open innovation platform, and is actively involved in volunteering with Poliferie, an NGO focusing on empowering urban communities with skills for the future.

Andrea's educational background is equally impressive, having pursued Master's degrees in Public Policy at the Hertie School and Sciences Po, specializing in Digital, New Technology, and Public Policy. He also obtained a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Economics and Politics from Queen Mary University of London and gained international exposure as an exchange student at The University of Hong Kong.

Throughout his professional journey, Andrea has been associated with various organizations, showcasing his versatile skill set. He co-founded peoplerank, advised at Plug and Play Tech Center, founded and presided over Poliferie, served on the board of Takeoff Accelerator and Motor Valley Accelerator, and held prominent roles as Managing Partner for Italy, North Africa, and Switzerland at Plug and Play Tech Center. His experiences also include policymaking roles at the UK government and the city of Paris, demonstrating his expertise in the intersection of technology, policy, and social impact.
