Andrea Rae Georgas
Mother, Illustrator, Educator, Permaculturist.
Andrea Georgas is a talented illustrator, devoted mother, and experienced educator. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design, she has honed her skills to become a leading artist in her field. Her passion for teaching led her to Loyola University, where she earned a Master of Education degree, followed by an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Diploma in Primary education from Montessori Northwest. For over a decade, Andrea has devoted her career to educating children, working as Support Staff at Sagebrush Montessori School before serving as an Assistant Primary Guide at Christ the King Montessori Preschool. She also worked as a Private Art Tutor and as an After School Art Specialist at Montessori School of Tokyo before becoming a Lead Primary Guide at Sweetbay Montessori School. In addition, Andrea is one-half of The Best Distraction studio, where she co-created illustrations for clients. Today, you can find her covered in markers and paint, creating works of art and shaping the minds of future generations.
