Andrea Durham

Andrea Durham is a student currently enrolled at New York University's Tandon School of Engineering, where she is pursuing her studies after graduating from the Academy for Medical Science Technology at Bergen County Academies in 2022. At NYU, she has developed a keen interest in research, particularly in the field of Alzheimer's disease, which was sparked by a writing class that led her to engage in research at Mount Sinai and other institutions.2

During her time at Bergen County Academies, Andrea was actively involved in various academic pursuits, including research in chemistry, biochemistry, and biotechnology. She has also expressed interests in neurosurgery and has participated in music through piano lessons.3 As of now, she is expected to graduate from NYU in 2026.1
