André Lapa is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in product management, content strategy and customer experience. He is currently leading the development of the national portal for digital public services in Portugal - ePortugal.gov.pt, where he puts the citizen/user first and prioritizes the product backlog based on user needs and research-based requirements while working closely with UX, design and engineering.

André began his career in Marketing and Communications, which led him to work in Digital Project Management and Open Innovation. Over the past years, Andre has been involved with digital strategy, User Experience / usability, and open data initiatives, both at the national and international level.

André holds a Licentiate degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies - Internet and New Media, graduated with Summa Cum Laude (18/20) from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Currently, André works as the Head of Digital Platforms and Content at AMA - Agency for the Modernization of Administrations in Portugal. Before joining AMA, he worked as a Digital Project Manager and Marketing Communications Manager at the same organization. Additionally, André has been an Invited teacher for Executive MBA (Marketing & Event Management) at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. He has also worked as a Corporate Communications Director at YDreams and a Trainee Producer at BBC World Service.
