Andre Dickens is the current Mayor of Atlanta, Georgia, having assumed office on January 3, 2022. He was elected as the 61st mayor of the city after winning a runoff election on November 30, 2021, with 64% of the vote against Felicia Moore.12 Dickens is a native of Atlanta, born in 1974, and he has a background in both engineering and public service. In his personal life, Dickens is a father and a deacon at New Horizon Baptist Church. He enjoys spending time with his daughter and is an avid supporter of Atlanta's sports teams.24
