Anand Shrivastava

Anand Shrivastava is an experienced insurance professional with over 20 years of experience in the non-life insurance industry. He has worked with The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, the largest general insurance company in India, where he has honed his skills in IT-based marketing solutions, risk management, and corporate sales. Shrivastava is also an expert in creating new marketing channels for insurance products using IT as a backbone. He has even created the largest insurance marketing channel with over 28,000 touchpoints in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Shrivastava is also an aspiring InsurTech entrepreneur who seeks to improve the customer experience by disrupting current insurance practices. He aims to develop better risk management products delivered through efficient channels and better service delivery to increase insurance penetration globally. In addition to his work, Shrivastava enjoys teaching on insurance marketing, engineering, fire, and marine insurance at various levels.

Shrivastava studied BE in Electrical Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and completed a PG Diploma in Financial Management and FIII in General Insurance from Indira Gandhi National Open University and Insurance Institute of India, respectively. He is currently posted as a Manager at the Bhopal Regional Office with The New India Assurance Co. Ltd.
