Anamitra Deb is a highly accomplished professional who has spent years working in the tech industry. Currently, she co-leads Omidyar Network's global Responsible Tech team, where she focuses on issues related to platform accountability, disinformation, ethical tech, and good ID systems. Prior to her current role, she was the Global Lead of the Strategy/Research/Impact team at Omidyar Network, where she helped develop innovative strategies to support positive social change. Before joining Omidyar Network, Deb worked as an associate partner at Monitor Deloitte, where she co-founded the Monitor Inclusive Markets practice back in 2007.

Deb has a wealth of educational experience as well. She studied International Baccalaureate at the Lester B Pearson United World College, where she honed her skills in international relations and economics, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in both subjects, graduating with first-class honors with distinction from Mount Allison University. She later achieved two Master of Science degrees, one in Environmental Change & Mgmt and the other in Forced Migration, both with first-class distinction at the University of Oxford.
