Anamika Dwivedi is a well-educated professional with a diverse background in public policy, education, and research. She holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education from American University, and a BA in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Philosophy from Northwestern University.
Throughout her career, Anamika has held various roles in prestigious organizations. Currently, she serves as the Manager of the Executive Session on the Future of Justice Policy at Columbia University in the City of New York. Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at The Urban Institute and as a Research Assistant at Harvard Kennedy School's Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management. Anamika has also gained experience as a Summer Policy Intern at the Southern Poverty Law Center and as a Fulbright Fellow at the U.S. Department of State.
Anamika's dedication to education is evident through her past roles as a World History and Geography Teacher at KIPP DC, a Science Teacher at Fairmont Heights High School and Gwynn Park Middle School, as well as a Curriculum Writer at Prince George's County Public Schools. She has also contributed to shaping young minds as a Corps Member at Teach for America and as a Science Teacher. Her passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as she has also worked as an Intern at Casa Garrahan.
In addition to her educational and teaching background, Anamika has also delved into research, having worked as a Researcher at Northwestern University's Department of Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cell Biology.
