Anabel Otero

Anabel Otero is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, and Public Health Nutrition.

She obtained her Master's degree in Biochemical Sciences from the Institute of Biotechnology in UNAM, México, where she focused on the regulation of expression of glycosyltransferases from Leuconostoc Mesenteroides.

Anabel further pursued her education and completed her Doctorate in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biomedicine at the Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine, specializing in Cytosolic Carboxypeptidases of the M14 subfamily.

Complementing her research expertise, she also holds a Master's degree in Public Health Nutrition, with a concentration in physical activity in preschool children from the Institute of Nutrition and Food Hygiene in Havana, Cuba.

Throughout her career, Anabel Otero has held key positions in various prestigious organizations. Currently, she serves as a Senior Research Scientist at Splice Bio, contributing her knowledge and skills to cutting-edge research.

Previously, Anabel has worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Proteodesign, SL, where she showcased her expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Her professional journey also includes a tenure at 3P Biopharmaceuticals, where she was involved in downstream processes within the R&D Department.
